James Ladd & Jon Short blend soulful original songwriting with subtle jazz-infused grooves and warm acoustic tones. James’s heartfelt originals—shaped by blues, folk, and modern jazz influences—pair naturally with Jon’s smooth, expressive bass lines, creating a sound that’s both intimate and richly textured. Together, they deliver engaging, musically rich performances that highlight strong chemistry, inventive arrangements, and a relaxed, inviting vibe.
