Our food

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We source locally wherever possible; prioritising independent suppliers and championing seasonal produce, making the conscious decision each day to work with our land – not against it.

We serve a vegetarian menu, which is made on the premises fresh each day. Our ingredients are sourced from trusted local suppliers, and our 5 Acre Farm in nearby Backwell. 5 Acre is a Community Interest farm, where the driving aim is to feed back into the land and its surrounding community. With this work the farm hopes to insure the health of the soil, and its ecosystem, for years to come.

Mark’s Bakery sits nestled within Tobacco Factory in the busting heart of North St.

Serving our community with proper sourdough, artisanal pastries, fresh groceries and made-to-order lunches.

Plus; head through our shop to our covered courtyard and make time to pause with your coffee.

Our bakery was born from a love of bread. It all started with a gifted bread making course, which sparked Mark’s passion for baking. 11 years on, our much loved Southville Sourdough sits alongside our full range of breads, pastries, cakes, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and specials, and perfectly poured Clifton Coffee.
