In 1971, high-school football was everything to the people of Alexandria, Virginia. But when the school board is forced to integrate an all-white school with an all-black school, the foundations of football traditions, and the town itself, are put to the test…
Loosely based on the true story of coach Herman Boone (portrayed by Denzel Washington) and his attempt to racially integrate the high-school football team at T.C.Williams High School and fight mounting prejudice, Remember the Titans is a story about racism, leadership, and brotherhood.
With an amazing cast including Will Patton, Craig Kirkwood, Ryan Hurst, Donald Faison, Hayden Panatierre, and Ryan Gosling, and with a fantastic soundtrack to boot, this film is a complex but uplifting tale, perfect for a cosy evening during the autumn and winter months.
