The Barley Mow

Tucked away in the Dings, near Temple Quay and St Phillips, The Barley Mow is a proper local pub.  Owned by Bristol Beer Factory, the splendid double fronted building has plenty of original features and character, with wood paneled walls, dark floorboards and an open fire giving is a lovely cosy feel.  Outside there is a pretty courtyard garden with original flagstones, which gets the afternoon sun.

With its locally brewed beers from the Bristol Beer Factory, guest beer, and good quality food, The Mow has a lovely friendly atmosphere.  It serves the local community as well as having a lively trade from nearby businesses in Temple Quay.

The Barley Mow may be off the beaten track but it easy to get to, with Temple Meads station only 5 minutes walk away and the cycle track running right alongside.  This is a gem of a pub that is well worth a visit.
