The Barley Mow

The Barley Mow is a gem of a pub tucked away in The Dings, St Philips. Opening in 2008, the Mow is going from strength-to-strength, striving to serve the local community.  We also have a lively trade from businesses and commuters with Temple Meads station seven minutes walk away and the cycle track running literally behind the pub. 

A splendid double-fronted old pub with plenty of original features and character, The Barley Mow feels like a proper local as soon as you walk through the door. It has original floorboards and fireplaces, a simple bar with a line of real ale handpulls (including two dating from 1936). Serving good quality pub grub, real ales and a strong back line the mow has gained entry into the Good Beer Guide for successive years since opening.  With its lovely friendly atmosphere this cosy back street boozer is well worth a visit!
