Don't miss the locally brewed beer from our sister company's micro brewery. The Bristol Beer Factory, situated in one of the remaining buildings of the old Ashton Gate brewery in south Bristol, uses locally grown malt and hops to produce quality ales. The brewery received a prestigious national award when it was named 'Best Drinks Producer' in the 2011 BBC Food and Farming Awards.
The Cafe Bar is one the the principal outlets for the Bristol Beer Factory, with products stocked including:
- No 7: Traditional Best Bitter 4.2%
- Independence 4.6% : continuously hopped American pale ale
- Nova 3.8% : light malt base, fresh and zesty hop aromas, herbal and floral
- Bristol Stout: Rich & Malty 4.0%
- plus a selection of their bottled beers, including Southville Hop - awarded 'Overall Champion Bottled Beer' by the Society of Independent Brewers in March 2012.
Children are welcome in the Cafe Bar (with exception of the stage area) until 9.00pm. High chairs and baby changing facilities are available on the premises.
